Moorside Rangers has run a number of projects in local partnership primary schools to increase access to football for girls. Resulting in the introduction of a girls football section in 2011 with two girls teams. This year the club will be fielding three girls teams playing in the South Manchester Girls League.

Mandy has taken overall responsability for the Girls section as well as becoming assistant manager with the under 13 girls team.
