Moorside Reds came together in July 2009 with all of its players coming through our hugely successful holding group.

Having started playing football at the holding group from the age of 4yrs old, many of the players had already made strong bonds and friendships, which made the progression into a playing team hugely successful.

The team had a great 1st season playing in the COSSL, and put together some great performances.

The start of the U8’s season saw the team gain 2 new players and as a result have continued to go from strength to strength. Having had some tough games, the team have been consistent with their performances and kept up their moto of “ having fun” no matter what the outcome.

This year the team will be playing in the CoSSL Premiership Division.
